When a plant is in its early stages it seems small and fragile, but knowing the plant is designed to naturally grow, we invest in its potential. We begin our journey with solid intentions of pouring into the plant so it will blossom into what we imagined it could be. That is what God had in mind when he created us. We are created with endless possibilities, each of us imbedded with the tools we need to blossom into who God wants us to be. However, in order to purposefully blossom in Gods image and light, we must continuously pour into ourselves with the intention of growing in the right direction. That is what practicing self-love mean to us. If one does not pour water into themselves and practice proper nourishment of “self”, one will not grow. So just like plants we were designed to be able to maximize our potential and heighten the expectations God has for us, beginning first with self-love.
